Fill and sign: how it works

  1. Open a PDF form.
  2. Tap a field to fill it, or tap anywhere to add text, a date or your signature.
  3. Press Download (or Save, to write back to the file you opened).

Questions

Is this a legally binding signature?

It is a visual signature: an image of your signature placed on the page. It is not a certified electronic signature, and some documents, such as wills and most powers of attorney, cannot be signed electronically at all.

Is my signature stored?

Only if you tick “Remember”, and then only in this browser. You can delete it in Settings at any time.
